'PACA POO

From muck to magic, alpaca manure is great for gardeners, promoting healthy and strong plant growth and vegetable yield.

Alpacas are originally from the high altiplano of Peru, Bolivia and Chile, where the environment is tough, meaning that they needed to develop a highly efficient means for processing what little food was available in order to extract the maximum amount of energy.  With their three stomachs (they are known as modified ruminants, other ruminants commonly have four stomachs) they process their diet of grass, hay, vitamins minerals and water ultimately converting this into energy and an annual harvest of very fine fleece.

Since they are so good at breaking down their food, alpaca manure, unlike other common manures, does not need to be aged or composted before use and will not burn plants.  It’s great for all plants and our customers regularly comment on how their gardens have improved  and veg patches have increased in yield since using it.

How to use:

Outdoor use: simply spread on top of the soil and either water it in or let the rain do the job you, it breaks down very quickly.

Indoor use: just push a few pellets around your plants or dissolve the pellets in water to form a “fertiliser tea” and use to water your plants.

Price: £2.50 per fertiliser-sized sack full.
